How do I register my nova as a 2ltr on the log book ? What information do I need ? And does it have to go to vosa for a check ? Thanks matt
With great difficulty. DVLA are about as useful as a pot of spunk with things like this.
All you need to do is write the new engine number in the logbook and send it off. No VOSA check necessary. However it may take a few attempts mine got send back with a 1200cc engine 3 times or something!
Best option is to do it in person at your nearest DVLA office. You'll need the engine number, and also MOT/Insurance if you want to tax it.
You SHOULD be asked to provide evidence of the change if you're changing tax brackets, but in practice its hit and miss if the DVLA person asks you for it!

What's the best insurance to go with after its registered ?
You just leave it as 1.2 bruv. DVLA don't care about this stuff innit. Tell the 5-0 it's still OHV when they pull you too.
Sweet as a nut.

With a leaky sump
170 php redtop ftw. The dyno print out blew out of the window when I was overtaking an EP3 CTR at 150 bud.

There's a copper that does out area who's **** hot on them he pulled my mate and said open the bonnet, he said I carnt the catch is broken the copper looked underneath and said alloy sump? C20xe then now open the bonnet lol
Unlucky! lol
I once passed off an SR20DE red top (actual name) as a GA16DE when a copper had my bonnet up. This is the same one who told me he was once a vehicle inspector.
