seeing as there are 5 people selling sumps for an xe/let sumps on here but dont reply to pms:tard:, i want to know weather this can be used, please excuse the link, but i need to get this sorted this week as the cars of for paint!!!

ive looked about to see if anyone has used a steel one before , and wondered if it fouls on the manifold etc, also the oil pick up, help please

You never replied to my pm i sent you last week even to say no thanks! Yes you can use that,much better than the crap alloy one.Make sure you get the bonded gasket too and you wont have any more problems with it leaking.

I thought you needed to modify/change the oil pickup with a steel sump.

i have a steel one on my let but i think baffle plate needs a bit of bending or something like that. hopefully someone else will know more.

I changed mine on my last xe to the steel one and didnt have to touch the pickup pipe.The baffle plate may be slightly different tho but i used the 8v bonded gasket so came with the right plate.
