Does an MOT test have to check that the handbrake works fully in both directions of wheel rotation? The crappy handbrake set up on my Celica only properly works moving forwards, if I park the car facing up a hill however it decides it doesn't want to stay there. So if the test is just in the forward direction it'll pass and I wont have to spend silly money rebuilding the whole set up.
