Well as per title, I've got coilovers on the 1.2 at the moment, I'm guessing the meant for a 1.6 f13 set up, well I'm wondering if there is any springs with a lower poundage that might be better for me, as I think these are too stiff an the rides very harsh from them...
I know you can buy them from RD cheep but I need to know what sort of poundage to go for.
what makes you think theyre for a 1.6?
Barring conrods and a few other things theyre all essentially the same engine, cant be much if at all in weight difference to make them perform worse.
Back the damping out and see if they are still to harsh....
I ran some 575LB rear and 425lb front springs on my vx (essentially reversed weight balanced car lol) with very soft/mild damping and it was sublime on the road/track.
Some people like hard springs and soft damping others like soft springs, hard damping and REAL ARB's.
some people get somewhere in the middle of both and find it terrible lol (imho 90% of the stock setups from aftermarket out there for all brands)

Well they were off the coras sport that's a 1600 16v and I don't remember them being like they are not in that.

Ahhhh, they will be set to some batty stiff damping to make them 'feel sporty'.... I'd be willing to bet £10 that softer springs will make it feel worse.

i run on my stockcar a 400lb coilover on the passenger side which takes the most of the stick and my car flies around a bend .
does anyone know what lb rating stocks springs are?
You ought to find out what poundage springs your current ones are....
