Distributor strip down

Right just started this and I'm having trouble with the coupling pin, just can't get it to move. I take it it is ment to come out to remove the shaft. Any tips or ideas as I'm looking to get the induction sensor / pickup coil off.

if its a bosch peg drive one, then go & buy some specialist punches. i tried to bodge one apart with a ground down nail as a punch & wrecked it... have a good look at the roll pin to work out which way it was forced in... then send it back out the right way.
