Mine is getting retaxed next month as its better to take them out and drive them every so often if theyre being stored outside, even if theyre under a cover (which i will be buying next month too, a proper waterproof one)

I've driven mine all of about 5 times since finishing it this year. I don't want to drive it in the rain or on gritted roads, and since I live in Wales that means its probably not going to see much of the outdoors for a while. Its staying taxed and insured though, so if a miraculous sunny day appears it can go out to play.

Only managed just under 100 miles this year, one trip to work and one for the MOT :( SORN tomorrow, so that's it until next MOT in April.

Don't want to know what the pence per mile works out at lol

Nova runs out of tax tonight, so she's safely tucked up until spring. shame really, as the weather is still good, I've barely used it. I just can't justify taxing it right now, especially as the daily is due as well :(

Just SORN'd the Sport tonight so thats off the road til next year. Swing passed its MOT yesterday with no advisories :). Swing and 888 both have another month of tax left on them so will try and use the 888 for the Heritage Centre open day next Sunday before they are both SORN'd for the winter :(

td managed about 1800 miles in spring before the engine decided to call it a day, engine will be getting changed over next couple of weeks then i have to decide what car to put on the road over winter! hopefully the sr so i can get the td and my corsa good for spring!

Done just over 20k in my nova this year... Still going strong... And will be still going for the time being... Tax is due end of this month... Insurance is up for renewal soon as well...

I really can't see the point of taking a car off the road for winter  Yes, i know about the salt etc etc, but we can have some nice, dry weather during the winter, so surely as long as its not icey and salt everywhere, there's no harm done.
And you're only really saving about £70-80 in road tax P.Y as the car is still insured. I know I will be using mine right throughout the winter providing its a nice'ish day.

Mine is enough of a handful on a nice warm day. lol

My reason for taking my cally off the road is yeah partly because of salt and making a mess of it. But more because I don't want to slip in the ice (no mater how carefully you drive) but what would piss me off most and is the main reason why!, if someone skidded into me!!!! I'd be livid!!! >:| plus it's quite cool looking forward to spring and getting it out again :)

I had mine Mot'd last month and have covered just over 1500 miles since the last owner Mot'd it. I suppose at least my limited mileage policy is valid. Considering I had just bought it and was out in it every day when I first bought it not covered a lot. Oh well time to change the oil etc and tuck it up for winter. Been so busy with my new business I have hardly had anytime on my hands. Not going to sorn it as I do love the odd blast on a dry winter day (if we get one).

I bought a ranger in July and have done 10k+ in that! At 25mpg at best :(
