Been digging round the hotrods inner wing today and discovered the monumental f**k up the body shop made when they fitted my inner wings! The pannel itself is strong and rot free it just looks a mess! not the bit where the loom comes through I'm still working on that it's the bit in front with all the strips of weld! If it was easy accessable I would just fill it with weld and grind it back but I just cant get in to it!

Yeah put it in for a bare shell respray, new inner wings and front panel! They had the car over 6 months ended up me chasing it every weekend till I got it back! After seeing the job they did I kinda wish I'd just done it myself! :(

TRUST NO ONE! lol

If its strong then I would just use filler to smooth it out, it doesn't look that bad from the photo to me.

Cut it out, weld plate from underside then weld from top, flat weld down is what I would do

Don't look Mega bad tho

Was thinking about just keeping at it till I flattened the welds then a thin coat of filler! :p

Just looks like they've welded a tricky area and smoothed it as best they could with the access. skim of filler or some seam sealer and you'll never notice it when painted

That's what I was thinking just wanted to see if anyone had any better idea without major open heart surgery! ;)
