making my nova saloonn a diesal

so o have a 1.2 nova saloom but want to put a diesal engine in. Does corsa one drop straight in or will i need to do a lot of rewiring as cant seem to find a nova diesal around .what is involved with a change like this also how much am i looking does anyone have thesr parts

use an astra one, the newer one will need wiring, the older one without ECU just connect about 4 wires, you need to do something with the front engine mount, either cut the old one and weld a derv one in or make a bracket to go from it to the engine

Talk to Bazil... He has a brand new chassis leg for the derv.

However, what engine are you thinking of using?? The gm lump or the isuzu lump?

Doesn't the GM lump fit straight in? I personally got the Isuzu lump when i did mine as they're unkillable

the gm one is a bigblock, so its the same work as fitting a redtop....and is painfully slow..

the isuzu td is a much better engine
