View Full Version : WHY DO ALL THE NOVA's HAVE TO BE IN ENGLAND?

Been browsing for ages for a Nova as my first car! Wanted one for a number of years and they all seem to be so far away :( Eventually found an SR in Scotland and it was an Automatic lol :(

The only thing automatic on an SR is the choke lol

Never been an SR auto unless they changed it FTL lol

Just done a REG check and its a manual :) Thanks guys for bringing that up guys and hopefully if the guy gets back to me it will be my first car !!!!

First thing it'll be getting is a polish if I snap it up ;) Only 16 at the minute so it'll be good to learn to drive in and then when I'm driving god knows how long I'll keep it :) !

There are good Novas in Scotland but, we don't sell them cause we are too grippy!!
It is a manual, there is a a gearlever in the interior picture, slight giveaway.

I've seen an auto nova, from factory. Think it was converted by vauxhall.

most of the novas i know of in are either mid-build or have been off the road in garges/lock-ups for years! almost never see them on the road! that said a saw a white nova last night in ek lol first ive seen near me in months though!

Hold your horses! unless you have extremly deap pockets, you wont be able to insure an sr at 17... i tried, £4k+

insurance could surprise you, i managed to insure an sr as my first car at 18 for under 1k so i wouldnt rule it right out! i've always had cheaper quotes on sr's than 1.2s aswell for some reason

There is a lot of difference between 17 and 18, with or without driving experience. And how long ago was that may I ask?
