oil leak need help!

Where the oil sensor wire goes into the sump at the bottle right handside I have got oil coming out of it ! :o I have unplugged the wire & noticed the oil is coming from inside where the wire plugs into...

Plus the oil only leaks out of this when the engine is running.

How can I fix this asap as I am losing oil?

you need a new oil pressure sender or switch.

sounds as if it is busted. cos what happens is oil builds up in the sender, and the more pressure or whatever indicates more on the dash.

so if its busted all its doin is sdquirting out

the oil pressure is only there as u correctly say when the engine is running.

if it is the sender type, its a 19mm open end spanner

if not i think its a 21mm for the single wire jobby

look at the guide over on nova-land in the engine section, for replacing a single wire sender with a 2 wire, its tyhe same principle as what u need to do

oh and make sure it has the little washer type thing between the sender and the oil pump
