c20let, xe inlet cam timing, can anyone confirm for deffinate?

hi, can anyone confirm the 7 degree timing, is this 7 crank degree or 7 cam degree if it is 7 crank then does that mean the cam wants to be 3.5 retard?

so many threads about this but no deffinate confirmation on what it actually is just lots of mixed answers, the total vauxhall thread just says half a tooth wich on my kent vernier would equate to 7 degree on my pulley

any help much appriciated would be great

im 99% sure its 7 degree on the crank so 3.5 on the cam

It is half a tooth on the cam pulley, which equates to seven degrees....Just retard the cam pulley half a tooth. Easy.
