what do you reckon?? brake failure or one hell of a dive up the inside??? was ronchetti running wide? cos the carlton had got past him into the chicane..

You can the rear end kinda lock up, whether the stamped on them a little too hard maybe?

But that an awesome video, it wouldn't be half as good if it didn't have the rear camera. Wtf is in the Carlton!? Tey all V8's?

Skip to 9:20 for the gore.

To me the front twitches left then its as if he goes to correct it then round it goes.

Poor old girl - repairable by the looks of it, bet the owner (Joe Ward) is gutted though!

Still at least its still being used as Gerry Marshall would have wanted!

baby bertha has been rebuilt more times than triggers brush...

there is definitely very little left from its first season of racing.

Heh bad times - looks as though he was using the carlton as a benchmark & when that car went for the pass, it left him on the wrong side of the track out of sync; hence the sudden dive on the brakes & resulting fail. Hope that sunbeam's easily fixed :)
