hi there i am just wondering how much ruffly would it be to do a c20let conversion nova i have been looking at engines on ebay etc but they need a rebuild how much would it be for a running engine with turbo etc are u looking at much to do the full conversion i am just playing with ideas here but just trying to figure out prices cheers :d

For a good c20let,i would say for a good one at least £700,then you will need shafts brakes,new petrol tank if its a carb,engine bay should also be stich welded, Not to mention the e.c.u.

few grand then haha i built a redtop last year n fancy going bit bigger see this sabb turbo conversion that everyone is doing what is that like :thumb:

Each to there own,If i had the cash i would rather have an 1.6 8v turbo,Saab turbo,s are less likely to have been thrashed more than a vauxhall they have an older fan base,good luck with the build mate get some pix up if you do it!!

There is few saab built boosters on hear,I prefer the vauxhall lumps.

yeah mate that's what i would prefer aswell to be honest i dunno am just toying with ideas just now mat cant think of a good conversion to do haha what is it you have ?

mk1 1.4 sr, its in a million bits,complete restoration...............its killing me!!,i have a e16se f13 c/r gearbox and a set of bike carbs to finish.for now its just the 1.4 8v on the peirburg.

aye sounds good mate my old nova before a redtop it was the 1.6 8v on 40s with mahle pistons in it and kent cam with the f 13 c/r box then i swapd that for the redtop had the engine built bi a & m conversions running the f16 box was good fun it sounded better tho with the 1600 haha soo what stage is your sr at just now then mate
