Alarm help

I have a scorpian alarm off of ebay fitted to my nova and for some reason it only works when the ignition is on.

Could some one help me in making
This work without it being only when the keys turned to ign on.

Any help appriciated.

I'm not an expert but sounds like it needs ran to a permanent live,

Yes wire it to a perm live. Usually red but being an alarm might not be so worth checking the wiring diagram

Thanks dont have wiring diagram so just emailed some people that sell these for one.

Not sure as it has run before and worked so i dont know where i went wrong lol as its only been sat in yard.

There's usually two wires, one goes to permanent live and the other to ignition live, if the ignition live isn't connected it will give that effect

edit, sorry, just read it properly, looks like the permanent live isn't connected right or even that might be wired to ignition live

Himguys sorted it it was the wires for perm live(3) of them but sorted now thanks also managed to get a wiring diagram for the colors as they werent red or black lol....
