Got the bushes in the arm and the metal insert in. Wasn't till after I notice the insert has a chamfer on the bore, but only on one end...

I'm guessing it's to centralise when the bolt goes in!? Does the bolt orientation matter?

It is to help fitting, chamfer is supposed to go towards the front of the car but I can't see it mattering so long as bolt goes in

The original bolt does flare out a little bit towards the head of the bolt. So I'd fit the chamfer to face the bolt head (which is to the front of the car?)

Cheers chaps, I'll have a play. I've got a feeling it's a lead to guide the bolt. In which case I think I've put it in the wrong way round. :(
