Rear number plate lights ?

Hi guys just wanted some help regarding these tail lights. The first picture is an original rear bumper light on my 1988 mk1 nova, but the other day i brought another thinking it was the same one as you can tell the one i have at the moment needs replacing.

But i noticed they are not the same , can anyone identify the light in the second picture ?

It is a Nova one, your original one has the plastic cover missing

the first photo hasnt got the grey cover on as the second photo
the second one is correct
the first someone has painted it

I found out the other day that there is a difference between a hatch and a saloon number plate light, massively geeky I know

Are you sure? They don't list a seperate one for the loon, they are all the same apart from colour. Not an aftermarket one is it?

Solves that one thanks a lot guys I'm new to the nova scene so bear with us lol panic over :D
