Im wondering how to wire a engine managment light into my 20ex nova, previous owner said it had one but it clearly doesn't, also it doesn't have a diagnostic plug, the light on dash doesn't come on, I have changed the bulb but still nothing so it must not be wired up, I looked at the article how to wire a 16v nova, but I'm still unsure where to start tbh

If you look at the wiring harness near the ECU, is there a few small plugs? I think you can take the EML wire from there to the back of the clocks, and fit a switch in another to earth it to flash the codes.

Not at car ATM will have a look later if I'm at the lock up, but I don't think there is cause I had the ecu out ther other day and I read on the wiring a 16v guide and it says the mk2 Astra had a different harness with only 1 plug being this

I think mine has that plug and also the smaller green eml plug

Not had a chance to look yet been raining and need to take out garage so I can see

I think you're looking for a brown/blue for the EML output, and earthing the brown/yellow to make it flash

i cant find any like that at all :(
