right the problem is when u put your foot down the car is spluttering/hesitating/bogging down :/

i think its due to lack of fuel pressure as if you have the return line unblocked it wont fire up properly but if you clamp it off it will start but splutter.

Or over fueling?

any ideas what i can do?

i have i think the 1.6 fuel tank with built in fuel pump

Standard ECU? Is the engine management light wired up?

I thought the in-tank pumps only came on the SPI models (1.2, 1.4). If it's in-tank it'll need the MPI pump from a mk3 Astra or similar though.

mine did this when I had the spi pump on, changed it to a 2.0 mk3 Astra one and its fine

hi got it sorted for now blanked the return off and its running fine will see about geting a 2.0 one i have an astra one in (not sure on spec could be 1.6) forgot i bought it and swapped it over a wile back
