High idle 20xe

My car is idling @1250 how can I get this down?

This is the breather that was missing I just fitted before it was idling @1100 when breather is fitted its idling @ 1250

Check the idle valve. Check the hoses are clipped on properly to the valve and the inlet, check for splits etc. If that's ruled out, take the idle valve off and clean it with carb cleaner. Relube with some silicon spray and see how that goes.

The electrical plug on icv had fallen out,

now reving about a grand one less prob to sort thank goodness

Glad I noticed before I took icv out
