Sr,sri, gte & gsi steering wheels are all the same afaik, just the horn push thats different i think? So that one would be mk2 i reckon.
Headlamp motor adjuster switch
Sr/Gte/gsi centre caps from standard alloys

and the front grill?
Not sure on that, its defo a mk1 grill but not sure if its original? Dont know if its just the picture but one seems to sit higher than the other,as if someone has modified a standard grill? One of the other lads on here maybe be able to tell you better.

The brown trim is the rarer one from the sport I think

Got a lot of stuff there pal :)

On page 1 the 3rd clocks down are from a gte or a mk1 sr on an E reg or later as before that they had the orange needles.
4th clocks down are from a mk2 flair

On page 2 that looks like a standard mk1 hatchback grill with spotlights bolted on
Steering wheel is an mk1 sr Ereg onwards, gte or mk2 sr/sri/flair/sx or gsi but it has a mk2 horn push fitted
Headlight adjustment switch is from a mk2 but is really common as it was fitted to most vauxhalls of that era

On page 3 the steering wheel with the two spokes is from a mk2 either trip, merit, merit+ or luxe+
The door cards with the blue inserts go with the blue carpet and are from a mk1 antibes
The wheel and tyre is just a standard wheel probably from a 1litre or 1.2 as its only wearing a 145 tyre
Headrests are from a mk1 sr/gte
Burberry trim is from a mk1 sr but not all sr's had the red line in the seats some had yellow as on jamaica yellow sr or sports? Thats up to about 1988 before they changed the sr seats to the rainbow style seats.

On page 4 the center console is from a mk1 posh model or sr/gte and the cassette holder fits in it
The door cards that go with the burberry interior are standard grey ones but the sr's had the grab handle that went along then up at an angle.

These and the blue carpet are from an 'Antibes' model and arent very common, not to say theyre rare as i have both an antibes, the interior (seats) from the same antibes and a spare carpet (obviously plus the one in the car currently) everyone goes mad saying there like rocking horse endrums, but they do pop up from time to time, blue being the nicer obviously lol

andyredtop83
02-09-12, 09:33 AM
No the blue check trim was only fitted to mk2 sr/sri/flair models and came in blue/grey or red/grey. The blue door cards and blue carpet you have are from a mk1 antibes and as said before is quite rare now :d

You mean youve looked at my cars pics lol

The seats and doorcards in mine are from a mk2 SR/SRi as the Antibes seats arent the bolstered recaro type, and with an xe under the bonnet you tend to end up on the passengers lap during enthusiastic driving, i still have the original interior, ill try and get you a pic as the ones at the start of my wip thread dont show the seats overly clearly!

jaywalker
02-09-12, 10:51 AM
ok so what seats are in an Antibes then? as I have an unusual set that are not like the rest
