would a Corsa b 1.5 diesel box fit onto a 1.0l carb engine??

No the 1L engine has different mounting dowel and bolt sizes. You could swap the internals to the F10 box if the corsa box is a F13.

the gearing would also be really high, so it would struggle to pull top.

ive got an f13wr box thats ear marked for donald wards, you can have it for £15

f13cr with the 5th from a wr box i would of thought

the cr box has the same top gear as the 4 speed wr.

to be honest, you'll never make a 1.0 accelerate quick.
