Apologies for those who've got back to me - it seems ive been ill-informed, a GTE/GSi throttle cable doesnt have the ball end fitting for the throttle body on it, so its not one of those im after, after all...
This is the sort of thing i meant. Im pretty certain it's old skool carb-only vauxhalls.

Ill be hitting ebay anyway as theyre cheap enough, just not sure about the lengths of the cable..
In the mean time anyone reading this ill of course welcome any for sale like the one in the picture.
