Do they actually work? I went to remove a wheel as i think the wheel bearing has gone and found the locking wheel nut key is chewed up. its a circular one with 4 studs sticking out that lock into the nut. Ive seen the kits on ebay but has anyone used one?
Cant weld a nut on as the wheel bolt is too deep, next step was to take it to the garage and let it be there problem:thumb:

weld a nut on (m12 nut welded down the inside) & then just fit a normal wheel stud afterwards..
i'll never understand why people use wheel guns to put these on & always knacker them up.
or find a suitable imperial socket and hammer it on.
locking wheel nuts are a waste of time, firstly hardly anyone nicks wheels these days and secondly the keys/locks break for fun :(

i know which one you have, take a hammer, chisel (or screwdriver) and prise off the inner piece that freely rotates, then get a socket slightly smaller and hammer it on then undo, i used a V profile socket and it worked a treat on 4 wheels
