Nova hatch 1.4 SRi for sale

Hi PNG people,

As stated in title, 1.4 SRi for sale. It's a blue J reg, although the V5 says black, I just haven't gotten round to painting it. Fifty something thousand miles on the odo.

So, a quick history or the car...

It was my brothers, but when the clutch went he left it to rot on the driveway for a couple of years, so me being me, I decided I would take it off his hands with the intention of restoring it to a roadworthy condition.

Since then I've done the clutch, changed all the fluids, fitted braided brake lines to the front (I have the unfitted lines for the rears too), fitted a new rad, new rear wheel cylinders and shoes, one rear wheel bearing, dizzy and rotor, plugs, new leads (unfitted), E-Tech strut brace and started on the welding. However, I've discovered that I just don't have the time or the patience to finish the welding and bodywork.
The interior is stripped out, but will be supplied with the car unfitted. It's a bit untidy but serviceable, the drivers seat is shagged though. Bumpers and front wings aren't in the pics, as the car is disassembled. They are included in the sale though. Front bumper is a bit dis-formed due to some low speed collisions.

So, a bit of welding has been done on the bulkhead behind the master cylinder, and a bit of fibre-glassing. Welding has also been done on both front inner wings.

Welding/fibre-glassing that still needs doing is the boot floor to rear panel, hole in boot floor behind LH tail light assembly, both rear arches and the LH door at both lower corners. I've taken pictures of everything so providing all goes well with photo bucket, those should follow.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark at an asking price of 300. Granted, the bodywork is tatty, but the mechanicals are good are there aren't alot of SRi's out there these days. I really don't want to break it either, I want it to go to someone with the time to bring it back up to a decent standard.
I've tried to included as much as I can remember about the car, but I reserve the right to be a bit forgetful :confused:

I remembered that there is a dent in the sump, with accompanying damage to the bell housing, cosmetic only. Pic to follow...

try putting this on ovalracingforums.co.uk thats worth 200 pound all day long for anyone racing stock rods. i would take it myself but my lorry wont go into london due to lez charge.
