I was hoping you`d being analy raped dry last night and bubba had torn your anus to shreds and was asking if you should go to A&E or not to get stiched up going by the title.
Id forget the xe/let idea and just stick a proper engine in there like a b204.Proper job.

I'd go x16xe tbh gotta love the small block,

Although boost is fun the small block was so much more drivable

So you like boost. The answer is simple really isn't it?

Sell your xe, buy and fit a let. Where is the tearing?

Don't you need a nova to put it in first?

tj, rebuild your nova properly, then fit the xe. and then drive it around, and use the nitrous for boost...

then once you've done that for a bit, think about a turbo...

Finish the car with an xe. Then get a let ready to go in, swap over a weekend then sell the xe. Job jobbed!

What he said^ that way you won't get bored of it as quickly.

Is this for a nova? If so go for a good xe, I think more useable than a let

If it helps make the decision, I'm sure I know someone local who'd give you a few quid and put that nitrous setup to good use.

spud, tj hasn't got a nova as such... it looks more like a box of technical lego with no instruction book at the moment.... and someone wants to turbo it......

Xe it, but factor in any mods needed for letting it in future. A 2.0 nova isn't slow by any stretch of the imagination.

Judging by previous comments...just buy a Nissan Figaro lol
