Well we took the nice 4 hr journey up north today to Ten of the Best at Elvington airfield in Yorkshire..
Was a good day, a little disorganised I thought, but nevermind..

Fastest 1/4 of the day was from a red R32 Gtr Skyline with a 9.9 IIRC
Norris Designs Evo managed 10.9 again IIRC
My mate Chris toasted his clutch on the first run in his evo.. so that put him out for the rest of the day (new engine in 2 weeks anyway 800hp ) Scoobies/Evos/Dodge Vipers/Corvettes/Supras blabla were all putting in some fairly good times although the weather wasn't too good for this kinda thing so they could have been better.

Handling track.. the norris evo got a cheer from the croud as he lost it big time and spun round taking out all the cones lol A Dax rush thing (or whatever there called!) won the overall handling.

We definately need to get some novas up there next year... Some of the ones that are being built at the mo could have easily won the Fwd class... There were a few Escort/Fiesta RST's running 14's and stuff. I'm gonna refrain from saying things about the muppet in the "450hp" greeny fiesta thing.

All in all a good day out and now i feel like a Jacket potato lol So many cars blew up, buggered the clutches it wasnt funny :( The majority of fords that turned up went home on recovery trucks lol (Seriously!)
Worst of the day was the R34 Sumo Skyline thing, probably the best part of ?80-100K I cringed when he booted it and then half way up the strip, smoke was pouring out the back :(

Ah well he's obviosuly rich anyway

P.s. the sound dodge vipers make... :o They were doing a top speed run over 3 miles or something... Could hear them all the way down the track! Thats put ya Big Bore 4's to shame  hehe

The Skyline that blew was a friend of ours, Richard Bell. There's a thread about it on MIG. He's the owner of www.skylineowners.com he thinks he might have melted No. 6  Not rich but Richard, LOL

Think it's twin engined isn't it?

Also, Richard Bell...Has he just had a Red Kingdom kitted Nova featured in the latest PNG/PNC/PAG Magazine?

Q522 VMF was lurking in the car park if that counts?

Who owns this now, anyone from the board?

Apart from the Nova I have now, I'd always wanted that yellow beastie. I noticed @ totb there were a few dinks in the wings and that the body kit was held on with self tappers.

Oh well.
