Iv found out what I need for the clutch now sort of... But

Do clutch covers from an xe/let have the right bolt fitment to go onto the ne/seh flywheels?

Or are friction plates the same size on let's and ne's the one I have measures 215mm

And the spacing for the cover plates are 125mm between bolts an 250mm diagonally.

your main problem with fitting this to a manta box is spline size & number of splines..

the big block type gearbox is a 24 spline, but the small block type is a 14 spline, which also appears to be the number of splines to a manta type box.

if you have a spare small block clutch, test the splines on the frictrion plate & see of it fits the manta shaft.

it appears that the clutch from the z18xe engine is 210mm & 14 spline.

i'm using data from the valeo online clutch catalogue. follow the online catalogue linky below to get to it.

i must add that i can't verify this info physically, finding a decent clutch reline place would probably suit you best, as they will literally build up the exact clutch you need. there was something in ppc mag a few months back about a place in yorkshire that still did this sort of thing, will holman was singing their praises.. i'll try & hunt their details out.

Does it say what size the 14t hole diameter should be or will they all be the same?

My box has 14t also are friction plates from pot and flat flys all the same?

unfortunately, the catalogue doesn't go into enough detail

the friction plates are the easy bit, getting the pressure plate to match up with the thrust bearing is the challenge.. any decent engineer can redrill a flatflywheel though
