Injection filter with twin 40s

I'm looking into fuel filtration on my rally Nova. The car has facett electric pump and regulator feeding twin 40s, I was thinking of using a fuel filter from a injected Nova/Astra in the line from the tank to the pump. Will this cause any problems, will the filter restrict the flow of fuel?

an efi in line filter will flow way more than a carb filter, and should also be better at stopping fine particles getting thru. so i can't see any problems with fitting one.
