Does a c16xe need a vss wire connected to the ecu to stop it from stalling?

I never I didn't have to on my c16xe removed from an L-reg gsi

X16xe does need one, dont think the c16xe needs one if it doesnt have immobiliser

Mine needed one or it cut out when dipping the clutch when stopping.

I used one from a 1200 SPI speedo cable drive.

the car is fitted with a digi dash, is it just a case of joining the red/blue on the engine loom to red/blue going into digi clocks?

saying that every c16 corsa ive had has had cable clocks with no wires going to a transducer

C16XE needs a VSS and yes you can use the digi dash transducer

I never had a vss on the car it came out of the gsi, was one of the very 1st thou, L reg

Never stalled like the x16xe does without a vss

Jimbo all the C16xe came from a L reg Corsa, same as mine did ;)

I know mate but I never had to use a vss on a c16xe

I have had to with an x16xe mind,
