Anyone on here work for Skoda? VAG Group?

Hi guys anyone on here work for Skoda? I currently working as a tech for Jaguar but my place is **** and ive been offered a interview at a Skoda dealership, i know the VAG group is a decent place to get involved with from a technical point of view just wondered what people thought of them? Thanks

Skoda is ok dude, but is one of the lesser vw brands. (not being a snob or owt but vw's main brands are vw and audi, seat and skoda are the smaller cousins) However being owned by vw means you have to do everything ze german way! I'd be looking more at who owns the skoda dealers, good franchise/owners or not?

The range isn't massive either, biggest engine is the 2.0 cr diesel iirc, but i have seen some good stuff in the pipeline. The citygo has just won loads of small car awards too.

alright John, at Jag we only have 4 models. its Autosales in Bilston? they reckon they have been there 50 years?

Ye thats what im thinking, no just a job on job centre website, do they use the same diagnostic equipment/training schemes/centres as VW?

Yeah it's all the more or less the same chap. The audi/vw/seat/skoda diagnostic stuff is mostly the same using vas5051 (now odis too) The vw group has a massive training centre in milton keynes, where all vag group employees go, and it's good! If it was me i'd go have a nose. :)
