Mpg on e16se

I've never really worked it out as I don't trust my fuel gauge and have never ran it out to find out where the bottom is, I just tend to randomly throw twenty quids in, what should I be getting its not been messed with apart from a panel filter and exhaust and is reving at about 3200 rpm at seventy on a flat stretch, just wondered what I'd get on a motorway run

Mid to late 30's I'd imagine, especially on a standard engine.

So on a 420 mile round trip that's gonna be 85 quid in fuel if a gallon costs about seven quid?

Yeah i'd say stuarts about right, around town my old e16se used to get about 30mpg.

I eeked 44mpg from my 1.2 back in the good ole days lol
