mk3 cav wont turn off (c20xe)

have a problem with my c20xe cav ran it for months then changed the cylinder head, now the car starts runs etc just doesnt turn off??
but theres only two wires you have to take off apart from plugs to changed the head so im confused, any ideas my dad also reffered to something as the twok box

could be something as simple as the ignition barrell mate

Ignition switch on the back of the barrel I reckon. Unless youve messed with the starter or alternator wiring?

no mate havent messed with it work in a garage so have a good understanding, but havent had to work on many old nails/conversions and thats what my dad was reffering to i think that will be it they were his generation as a trainee mechanic when he was a nipper old fart :)
