hi,

The C16SE clutch is for a flat flywheel whereas the X14XE probably has the later 'pot' type flywheel. Swop flywheel from the E16SE and all will be good to go, plus a much lighter flywheel helping the response as well!

So, to put the SE clutch I would have to use SE flywheel that is lighter than XE flywheel right! That way, i could use SE clutch and clutch plate, and my engine would be a litle bit nervous! Right!
Thank's man, I was messing up!

Just, answer me another question! Are the C16SE flywheel Plug&Play in XE crankshaft?
Thank's!

the smallblock 16v engines were simply developments of the 8v ones, so cranks are compatable, so yes, the c/e16se flywheel will fit straight on.

X14XE already had flat flywheels, so clutch from 8V will fit straight on!

I've seen some with flat and some with the pot type - maybe down to year or car (corsa, tigra, astra, etc.) that it came from. My experience comes from having had a few donor engines for my x14xe rally engine.
