AS above. Whats a good benchmark to avoid piston to valve clash?

think its 276 but autosprint offer a 288 thats ment to be non contact

its the lift at tdc that is the limiter.... if you had a slow start to fast ramp profile you could fit mental cams in, but alas the valvetrain would die fast lol

Basically a good benchmark is the Kent ast 1612s, they are the only ones that will fit in on standard clearances

Seen that they are the only cam that Kent offer for injection, without double springs and mechanical lifters etc. But they're catalogue doesn't state what cams require pocketed pistons...

If it's only going to be a very mild cam, I'll look into costs to pocket standard pistons and get something a bit larier :d
