Is Holts Gun Gum silencer repair paste suitable for a temporary repair on an exhaust manifold?

Found a tin in my shed and wondered if it would be ok until I get chance to sort it properly?

id say it would last about 30 seconds, as i found out when trying to bodge an old cracked manifold lol

It will blow it straight out I bet, but since you have the stuff already give it a try for a laugh and see how many seconds it stays in place :)

that might work lol, its only a thin crack along the top of a GM cast manifold (Corsa C)

I used liquid metal ages ago on a x20xev astra sri - it actually worked !

Filed a V into the crack and filled it, let it set - all good!
