I run them on both my novas. I even have a rare (as in Ive never seen another set) three lock set. My friends nova had its locks twisted out of the door many times, but I always thought it'd be harder to do with this style of lock.
I used to have those on my first Nova, thought they were a great way to improve the security.
I'm running one of the Solex locks in my early mk1 tailgate too which works quite nicely.
I had a set of these on my nova van really good so much better then oe locks

Why bother with the locks when Vauxhall fitted as standard all the tools a thieve needs to get in the car with out any damage or needing to touch the locks
I hope you didn't pay £40 for them lol
I had someon my nova after it was broken into as they were only £25 for a set in 2002 :)

This
I had some on my old Nova, promptly took them off and sold them after realising even the most muppety of thieves doesn't even need to touch them to get in.
Their deadlock feature was quite good I thought, making fettling with the mechanism behind the lock a bit of a pain.

Better off leaving a Nova unlocked, may aswell for how easy they are to break into and saves any damage to the precious drivers doors(either that or leave a note on the drivers door stating 'if you must break in and damage the door please use the passenger door as I can still buy them new!')
Just make sure you don't leave valuables in it and fit a decent immobilisor.

All well and good if you own a garage :)
im with novasport on this one lol, it takes all of 30 seconds to get into a locked nova without keys

took me all of 30 seconds to get into mine when i lost my keys and the only "tool" available was the standard ariel lol
I do hope you only bought them for the novelty 'look what i have on my shelf' as theyre the biggest waste of money the world has ever seen, they could be diamond coated laser cut coded locks, but there still bolted to a 'nova'...
Spot the weak link in the security yet lol

Thats the only thing that will stop your nova getting nicked

I meant on a drive/the road. If they are going to break into a Nova the locked door is not much of a deterrant.

Mine dosent even have doors so who needs locks lol

Nope never :p
Getting to my nova is a job in itself, whether its at home, or at the unit, its got a chip/key immobiliser thing, a fuel pump cutoff switch, and if its at the unit its in an alarmed locked unit.
If its at home its down a locked, gated tenfoot, with nine foot, razor wire topped security gates, so there wont be many peeps getting to it, and if they do, i dont want them trashing my minty doors getting in lol
