will a saxo vtr or vts engine fit in a 1990 mk1 vauxhall nova ?:)

Yes probably but its pointless.

Vtr engine is same power as a gte/gsi engine

Vts engine is 130bhp. With a different inlet and decent cams and mani a 1.6 16V vaux engine is that power.

So really your wasting your time.

Yes, if you want to spend alot of time fabricating mounts, shafts and figuring out wiring. It's not going to be a simple swap but most things are possible if your pockets are deep enough. I could understand you maybe wanting to do the conversion if you have ALOT of cash invested in the engine and wanted to put it to good use but if your thinking of just sticking a standard engine in I can't really see the logic in the choice.

Most people tend to stick to the tried and tested cost effective Vauxhall engine swaps.

Mounts and shafts will be your biggest problems
