Hello,
I have an E16SE H reg GSI (non-Cat). Its got the 'old' problem of elevating idle which goes away when you pinch one of the vacuum hoses.
Does anyone have a costing air valve or secondary air valve for sale?

Cheers
Martin

I've not got any pics, but see the Green Nova Haynes manual Page 13.34;
CAV = coasting air valve - located on the LHS of the inlet plenum. Its a gold cylinder, with 1 inlet and 1 outlet.
SAI = Supplementary air valve - on the back of the rocker cover housing, 1 inlet, 1 outlet and a 2 pin electrical connection.

Anybody breaking a GTE/GSI engine or got the bits to sell?

Cheers
Martin

the coasting valve is the funny tin thing on the lh end of the inlet with all the vac pipes to it.

the sai or icv valve is bolted on where the fuel pump goes on a carb version of the engine.

i don't have any spare, as i'm planning to keep hold of the ones i have that still work
