Motorsport Novas.

just would like to know, if theres many people on here that are involved in motorsport with there novas, or is there any way we can get a page goin about builds, repairs, racing photos and overhauling.

There are a few, mk1Rich is redoing an ex road rally car to put into use again and his mate Ben (Boffer8) also has a rally nova that see's regular use (phunkynova iirc) also has one, but he is in a foreign land over the hills and far away lol

i do autocross racing in a 1.6 16v nova, i am nearly finished building a mid engined nova for autocross as well and i am building a c20let nova for track days and hillclimbs. bit of an addiction!

Can't see what the problem is with just putting them in gen chat? If we gave one just for motorsport then we would need one for track day cars, then the show queens would want one... And so on and so on till we just end up with a section for each member. lol

a track day is not a race
ace fun, no doubt but its not a race
both are good for different reasons, i do both so no axe to grind
racing is ace but you dont get long on track for your money
track days you get loads of time but no racing and usually muppets that just get in the way

On sunday i took part in our world championship (gold roof) race with busted ribs from racing at coventry i only lasted three laps then sat parked in the wall, after about five laps i got collected by another car, unfortunately not caught on camera but you can see how far it moved my car
