As per title, i have had this boot sat in my garage for a few years, so i put it up for sale about 2 months back thinking it would be perfect to some one at £20 all complete? :roll:

Not so, so i thought, i know I'll separate it all as people always want bits etc... humm maybe not :confused:

Yep sold it with FG boot, this is just the start of how things are going to be as Ive got loads of stuff no one wants to buy and Ive got to clear out as the bungalow im moving into wont have the storage..

Simply because people seem to want you to give your stuff away for nothing of next to nothing, out of simple principal, a lot of members would rather render something unuseable and bin it, than to spend pounds + time making something, and then give it to some greedy sod who simply cant be assed, or would rather have everything they want, handed to them on a plate!

I know you can do what you want to your own stuff but. Its not really an ideal thing to post on a nova loving forum and should not be encouraged. I remember getting a slating for driving a rotten 3 door saloon off a ramp rolling it, recording it and posting it on here. And that was when nobody wanted saloons (about 10 years ago).

Right, the reason Ive done this to the boot lid, is NOT one single person showed any interest or need for it, and as theres loads on ebay for £40-80 then they can go buy them at over priced rotten examples, also Ive been around long enough to know whats what, and Ive been messed about allot too, the end of the day it's no use to me, and no one wanted it, hobbit needed the hinge parts, so something good came from it before i did scrap it.

The issue Ive got with people on here is as spud said most wont pay a good price for good parts, so you can go pay silly ebay prices instead lol i offer good parts at good prices, im no ripp off guy, if want something then buy it, if not then it getting binned i can keep EVERYTHING FOREVER!

The same will happen to other things if no one buys them, EG my FG bonnet is next on the list, along with Corsa parts..

I cant help but think its a waste and should not be encouraged. I think id rather give away nova parts than to wreck them like that. You'd certinly get much more credability for it.

lol but Dude you literally struggle to sometimes give stuff away, and thats what Ive done/do as im not the type to bin stuff normally, but as said things need to change, Ive got loads of stuff, no space, no more time left to hold on to parts while i wait and wait putting my time/effort into finding some one to buy it!

Fact is i did this, and placed it on here so other can see that if you want some thing/parts and im selling it, buy it/make an offer as i MUST get rid, not just looking for money etc.

I tried to get rid of my Early MK1 shell. It needed paint and the sunroof was welded up but other than the battery tray it had NO rust at all!

I would have given it away! I offered it on here a number of times!

In the end I smashed it into a small cube with my forklift.

Got given £20 and a load of fun as a result.
