Car alarm fitting on nova gte

How hard would it be to fit a car alarm on a gte? And take one out that is on it? Thanks dan

most car alarms are actually very crude, they have a battery feed, and some dodgy trigger feeds, like the inside light, & a tilt switch if you are lucky.

so removing them is simply a matter of taking the old wires out & cleaning up where they were joined & making sure the insulation is sound.

fitting one is down to whether you have a professional immobiliser type thing fitted, or just some diy thing.. all new ones will come with instructions..

BUT remember this... when a car alarm goes off, most people simply say 'someones car alarm has gone off' & turn the tv volume up
