Plastic seat runner plastic things!

Hi, this is going to seen stupid but in all my years removing the plastic trims that cover the seat rails on the floor I've never managed to do it with our breaking them.

Had anyone got any tips on how it should be done? As I don't want to break the ones in my current one.
