Front speaker help!

Do the front speakers on a mk 2 dash give out just treble? iv fitted a set of aftermarket speakers, which are mint, but im using the wiring from the front! all im getting is treble from the speakers! the speakers are supposed to give out some bass
If I cae off the rear speakers half way down 2 feed the front, would they sound more "normal"? i think im gonna lose some power to the 6x9's, but that aint much of a prob!

They should be full range speakers..... i think, is it not the settings on ur headunit that is only allowing treble to come thru?? have u got crossovers with ur new fronts?? Cause mabye uv got it wired the wrong way round for the tweeters and mids!!

No crossovers, iv tried the wires the other way around, and put full bass, plus bass boost on the HU!

try some different speaker wire.. if u got really gud quality front speakers then ya dunt really wana use the crappy speaker wire which was there b4.
