t4 is a massive turbo, iirc its what the ford boys use to use on big powered rs500's

Yeah, they put a blower on the 3.0 V6 (in the 9-5) - made less power but a bit more torque. Used a T17 strapped to the side and generally making a mess of the exhaust lol

Didn't Dave Dixon fit the manifolds and turbo off a vectra Vxr to a 3.2 v6?

Yeah thats the plan vxr manifolds with turbo seated above gearbox will be for 1/4mile use really and will be on standard managment and stock engine internals so only low boost for now. The plan i have in mind is to just get it "running" and then managment decomp plates etc etc will come laster just sceptical as to what turbo to use as i dont know aloy about turbos and having 6pots to spin a bigger turbo seems the better idea?

I would say for low boost a smaller turbo is better.

Something like a T25 from Saab or Nissan engine should do the job.
