Why would be the best head to put on my Sri as I've been given some twin 40 webers, the car is fuel injected at the moment but was told the head was corroded on the face when I bought it so im looking for a new head! Any ideas to which head would be best would be appreciated!

The one that is has so replace like for like. When you say 'face' do you mean the head gasket face or inlet/exhaust? If it's one of the latter surely it'll clean up?

Head gasket face it's corroded and have been told its too corroded to be flattened!

Ahh not good. Stick with the C14SE head though when you replace it.

Post a picture of it. There are a lot of idiots who like to dish out the wrong advice

I havnt got the head as its still running! No I can trust him I've use him for years for head skims!

The head you can use will depend on the inlet manifold you are using as there are different shaped ports

Afraid not. They are round port which means get/gsi is the only alternative but they have much bigger combusts chambers

No, I mean there are different types, ie cathedral & round etc. It not be unknown to have a 13SB or 12ST head on a 1.4 bottom end to use the Irmscher manifold
