i read the how to fit calibra turbo clocks but it says that the 160's are well out on the speed, has anyone solved/encountered this issue?

They run of a different speedo ring - you would need to fit an F28 speedo ring to your gearbox...

thats the master plan in the end ;o)

so if i use an f28 it should all be ok?

Just out of curiosity, if you fitted an F28 to an xe nova, would the speedo then massively over/under read?

Even if your using the 160mph clocks with an F28 you'd still need to use 16's with balloon spec tyres (same as cav / cal turbo) for the speedo to read right, i ran it with 195/45/15's and the speedo was way out !

So using an f28 on an xe, with 15" slabs and 195-45-15 tyres and standard nova SRi clocks, would the speedo, under or over read?

Smaller diameter = less distance travelled for each revolution = speedo reading higher. I think thats the right way round? lol

I'm sure my cav dials read pretty well with the 195/60/15s on the Nova

That means my old xe nova was vastly slow, as it struggled to touch 100+ on the speedo, using the setup i mentioned earlier on lol
