C20xe round tooth cambelt

Might seem a silly question to ask, but are all round tooth belts the same length? The engine I'm putting in has the faintist engine number so can't confirm that way. I pressume they are, as I can only see differences in the tensioner/idler setup on the square tooth later engines.

yeah the round tooth ones are all the same. Like you say the later square tooth ones have 2 idlers and a tensioner, where as the earlier has one larger roller and one tensioner :)

Another quickie, are all the early engine oil pumps the same as well?

Yeah I think so, iirc the latter oil pump has the thread and cut out for the tensioner?

Yeh, thats what I've seen. I bought a pump off the bay, on a bit of an impulse. I saw there were 2, just wasnt sure wheter there wasnt more than one of the same kind etc.
