I'd say mk1 due to the handles not being blue/grey

But will Mk1 doors fit a Mk2 shell? I have a new set grey/blue door handles btw...

The fitment of the doors to the shell is exactly the same. The differences are the outside handle on the early mk1's and the holes on the inside of the door for where the door cards fit, which you could easily drill if needed.
Check the handles fit and the lock holes are on a slightly different place

Cheers guys. So when I use a GSi door card and that fits then its a Mk2 door?
Post a picture of the hinges, the main difference is the check strap, a mk1 has a bracket that bolts on and off the door/A pillar on the car, a mk2 has a welded on bracket and a pin you knock out!
Edit....
If it has one of these on the check strap then it's mk1....

The check straps unbolt and swap over though spudders
But thats inside the door though isnt it, not many peeps would fart about with doing that i wouldnt have thought, would they? lol

Not true, mk2s have the welded on and use a roll pin.

Cheers guys, I'll post up some extra pics. I bought the doors from a guy on eBay in Germany and he told me the doors were from someone that had them on his car and got run into the back and was written off. But the doorcards looked Mk2 to me, with the larger door grab and door pockets like the ones I have on the GSi.
