Hello I've found this guide on the web , looks a bit over complicated..
http://www.carburetion.com/weber/adjust.htm

Could anyone give me advice on setting up my weber 32/34 dmtl mixture?

Is the following a decent enough method ?:

Get engine warm then:

1. Back off throttle speed screw completely
2. Screw in mixture screw completely and then back off 2 turns
3. Start engine
4. Screw in mixture slowly until rough running or stall
5. Back off 1/2 turn or until good idle
Sweet spot should be between 1 and 2 turns from full in
6. Set throttle speed screw to desired

Am I going to be ok with this ?

the position of the mixture screw should be between 1 and 2 assuming the jets are the correct size.

Also sometimes you need check throttle response between adjustments to wake sure the idle to auxiliary change over is ok .

not really true as its only the idle jet hes setting up. you may get it better than it is now but will not be as good as it could be using a RR. As long as you remember/ take note of where it was before you start turning screws you cant go wrong. you can always put it back.

Make sure the carb is spotless before you start as you might be trying to tune out a fault with the carb.
