As title, will an xev headgasket fit an xe?

Because I can get a XEV genuine headgasket very cheap.

I know you can use a XEV block with a XE head (although you have to change the XEV pistons as they only have 2 valve pockets and not 4 per) but the headgasket is still a question to me. Internet seems to draw mixed advice.

£5 for a genuine headgasket.

You may not see the point, however I do. Not only for the fact that I can potentially get a cheap headgasket but also adds knowledge, sad knowledge maybe but still knowledge! lollol

if the holes line up then it should be ok. i reckon the only difference in the gasket kits are for the smaller gaskets anyway..
